MusixMatch as an essential android app, was introduced to me by a friend a couple of weeks back. And I’d like to do the same here.
Based on my usage thus far, the app has proven to be very handful. Especially for a music lover. Now, Relax while I tell you more about the Android app.
If you are a music lover like myself, and you enjoy lip syncing? MusixMatch will definitely come in handy. Think of a karaoke session and the app has got you covered.
Gone are the days when you have to search for the lyrics of your favorite songs online, copy them out to an external source and read them while listening to the song. Of course, I know this can be pretty handled with multitasking.
But how about being able to play a song off your phone, and the lyrics is automatically being displayed. No need toggling between apps. You also get a sequence as to how the lyrics goes with the song. Cool huh? Well, welcome to the world of MusixMatch.
How MusixMatch For Android Works
MusixMatch Android app particularly provides you the lyrics to your favorite songs. That’s basically what the app does. However, there’s a bit more.
Not only does the app provides lyrics to almost all the songs on your phone, the app can also provide lyrics to the music videos being played on your favorite video sharing site(s).
Sight for example, choosing to play a music video on YouTube, MusixMatch will automatically bring up the lyrics of that song to your display.
If the placement isn’t comfortable with you, you can always adjust it to whatever position on your screen. That way, it doesn’t interfere with the video you are watching. That of course, is if you can watch a video and read texts simultaneously.
When it comes to songs lyrics being displayed, MusixMatch has two display formats; compact and full. I personally prefer the compact display. The compact display format, allows you see other lyrical contents. That way, you have an idea of what the next line is. However, the full format only display the lyrics to the sequence it is currently on.
Now, before you go thinking this is only efficient with American songs, Nigerian songs are not left out.
The downside with the app however, is that it requires internet connection every time you want to get the lyrics to a song. Thankfully, this can be overridden using the premium plan.
Another downside is, if a song isn’t properly labelled (Artist name and song name), the app may not be able to recognize and present the lyrics to the song.
All in all, I would recommend the app to any music enthusiast. It could really help your career lol.
