DC-Unlocker Not Working?

If the process above didn’t work for you, don’t panic. We have to first understand the problem.

The solution to being able to fix DC Unlocker not working is understanding the problem and thereafter, proffering solution. First, if the software isn’t detecting your modem, confirm that the modem is still good. Also confirm that the USB cable is original and can detect a device with file transfer options and not just charging.

If those are in check and the software is still not detecting the modem, please exit the DC-Unlocker software and re-launch.

If that still doesn’t fix it, it could be something with the drivers on your computer. Please confirm that the needed driver is in check and updated. If you don’t want to do that manually, download Driver Easy. Run it and it will auto-detect the drivers that need updating. Thereafter, choose to update. When done updating, try the DC-Unlocker software again. It should work this time.

Modem Detected By DC-Unlocker But Not Unlocking?

If DC-Unlocker detects your modem but doesn’t unlock it, it could be as a result of the modem not currently being supported. You can check in with the DC-unlocker supported models page to see if your modem is included.

If it isn’t, then the unlock cannot be done. At least, not using DC-Unlocker yet. The best option will be trying other related software or wait till your modem becomes supported. New models are added regularly. Patience is needed here. Alternatively, go out and get one that can be unlocked easily.
