During my use of the 2go messenger application on my phone, there have been some problems or issues I have encountered and I just want to lay them down and possibly proffer solutions to these 2go issues.

My 2go is Not Connecting, why?
Solution:
Why chatting earlier today on 2go using the 2go messenger on my mobile, I suddenly experienced something I might call a crash. The 2go application suddenly seized. I had no other option than to exit using the Red button with the expectation that when I try reconnecting again, It wouldn’t give me any problem but guess what? 2go refuses to connect.
When I launch the application, at first displays connecting…… Loading.. and that’s it. It doesn’t go beyond that point. I tried over and over again but same story.
Quite simple, this is how I fixed it when 2go refuses to connect. I simply deleted the 2go messenger and reinstalled another version. I am quite sure you know that if you have registered on 2go before, you wouldn’t have to enter too many details to download another one, right? That’s it. Quite simple.
Other-times, through most people do think that the problem could possibly be from your network service providers, that’s not all. Your mobile device memory could also be a major effect. Simply free some memory on your phone, then turn off / on your phone and try again.
How Do I View My Chats and Recent chats on 2go?
Solution:
When logged on to your 2go account, on the homepage, scroll down to Active Chat. Please Note: you will have to indulge in a chat before your recent chat will appear on the active chat page.
I tried sending a chat message to a friend on my 2go friend list and the next msg i saw was ” (user username) does not have yot on his/her friends list so their full profile will be unavailable and messages will not be sent.” Please what does it mean?
Solution:
What this simply means is that, the 2go user has removed you from his/her friend list. You now have option to ADD USER or Remove User.
Unable to post on 2go chat rooms?
Solution:
Did you try posting on 2go groups and the next pop up message that displays reads “Sorry you do not have enough credit to perform this function, please purchase more 2go credits“? or something similar to that and wondering what it means? It means you do not have 2go credits. Posting in 2go chat rooms now requires credits. Hence, you should buy some 2go credit before engaging in group conversations.
What are 2go Credits?
Solution:
2go credits are credits used on 2go to perform some exclusive functions that requires use of credits on 2 go. Think of it as what’s required to perform premium tasks. This is perhaps, one of the ways the team make money on the platform.
How do i purchase credits on 2go and how much do they worth?
Solution:
To purchase 2go credit, visit the GET 2GO CREDIT page close to the end of the homepage. Alternatively, go to your profile on the app and choose to purchase credit. You can either purchase credits automatically or manually.
Purchasing 2go credits requires your normal network credit balance. Meaning, the worth of credit you wish to buy will be deducted from your network airtime balance.
For Nigerians, here are the 2go credits charge:
300 Go credits for N30, 525 Go credits for N50, and 1100 GO CREDITS for N100.
Unable to upload picture on 2go
Solution:
This depends majorly on your mobile device. Please make sure your device supports uploads function. Nokia phones works well with this.

How To Edit 2go Location, Age, Gender?
First, you should download the latest version of the app. You can download it from your phone’s app store.
When you must have successfully updated or installed the app as prescribed above, simply navigate to your profile, tap the option button and choose to edit profile. Therein, you can do all that was stated earlier alongside editing your nickname, changing your relationship status and looking for.
