Good news to all Etisalat users as the telecommunication company just launched a new data plan package. The new data plan package gives you 1GB of data for just N1000. Isn’t that awesome?
Am sure this won’t be a much pleasant news to third-party data sellers. Most people need not buy data from third-party data sellers as there is an official 1GB data for just 1000 naira now on etisalat network.
However, this plan isn’t currently available to all Etisalat users. It’s still in beta stage and is available to those who are eligible.
How Can You Be Eligible For Etisalat 1GB plan for N1000?
If you received the message from Etisalat introducing you to the new data plan, then you are eligible. The message received from them should read this:
Get 1GB data for N1000 Now. Â Dial *229*2*7#. Data plan is valid for 30 days.
If you got that message, you automatically qualify to subscribe and use the data plan.
Etisalat however, says that they are experimenting on the package. They may continue with it and extend it to all their customers and they may also discontinue it but let’s hope they extend it to all customers and keep the plan running.
Can I Use The Data On Android, iOS and Computer?
Yes you can! This isn’t a blackberry plan. It’s a normal plan that would work on virtually every device.
How Do I Subscribe?
Simple! Simply dial *229*2*7# and if you are eligible to use the plan, N1000 will be deducted from your account and 1GB of data volume will be allocated to you.
The glo bis plan which gives you 3GB for N1000 still works very well but then, you will need to tweak your Android phone Imei in other to use the data on your Android phone but in the case of the Etisalat 1GB plan for N1000, you don’t have to tweak your device, it works on all.
